ABOUT ME

My name is Jewelle Trotman, nice to meet you! I am a passionate, energetic professional specializing in copywriting and digital marketing—with a strong focus on social media.

​

Professional Experience

I previously held the role of the Marketing Manager at Foodie Card, a startup that helps restaurant-goers save money while supporting people in need. In this position, I was responsible for managing our social media accounts plus creating, planning, and scheduling content for both online and offline promotions.

​

As a Junior Copywriter at Direct Wines Inc., I honed my skills by producing content for Instagram and Facebook, email, product pages, SMS, CMLPs, and monthly print catalogs. I successfully adapted to various brand voices and audiences for WSJ Wine, Laithwaites, and NPR Wine Club. Plus, I collaborated on partnerships with Delta Airlines, AARP, and more.

Education

I have a B.S. in Advertising and Marketing Communications from FIT, with a double minor in English and Psychology. Throughout my four years of school, I obtained paid internships across industries such as entertainment, music, education, crafting and home goods. Also, I served as the Web Creative Director for Blush Magazine, pioneered the column "Cheap Eat of the Week," and worked as a Peer Writing Consultant.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy eating at restaurants, going to the movies, visiting art museums, and spending time with my dog. Wherever I go, I thrive on connecting with new people and embracing new experiences (ENFP).
